U.S. Trading Company Recalls Joy Luck Brand Dried Lily Flowers Due to Undeclared Sulfites

March 4, 2025

On March 3, 2025, U.S. Trading Company of Hayward, California, initiated a nationwide recall of its Joy Luck Brand Dried Lily Flowers. The recall was prompted by the discovery of undeclared sulfites in the product during a routine inspection by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Individuals with a sulfite allergy or severe sensitivity risk serious allergic reactions if they consume this product. The dried lily flowers are packaged in 2.5-ounce plastic bags with UPC code 721557511008. No illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers with sulfite sensitivities are advised not to consume the product and should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
