FSANZ Issues Recall for IKEA SLAGVERK Breaded Wheat-Based Pieces Due to Presence of Black Rubber Pieces

IKEA Pty Limited is conducting a recall of its product SLAGVERK Breaded Wheat-Based Pieces 500g due to the presence of foreign objects, specifically black rubber pieces. The affected product was sold nationally at IKEA stores in Australia. The recall applies to 500g packs with a best before date of 24 February 2025. Consumption of food products containing black rubber pieces may cause illness or injury, posing a potential health hazard. FSANZ advises consumers not to consume the product and to return it to any IKEA store for a full refund.
