draft standard applies to the road transport of dangerous goods, encompassing inorganic chemicals, organic compounds, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, dyes, essential oils and fragrances, soaps, explosives, and miscellaneous chemical products.
The document establishes fundamental conditions and exemptions for the road carriage of dangerous goods. It further prescribes requirements pertaining to multimodal transport operations, compulsory safety training for personnel, obligations and safeguards incumbent upon all parties involved in the transport chain, and heightened controls applicable to high-risk dangerous goods categories.
