The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Advisory No. 2026-0250, warning healthcare professionals and the general public not to purchase or consume the unregistered food supplement “NATURE’S CRAFT Green Tea Non-GMO Formula Superfoods Dietary Supplement Capsule.”
The FDA reported that online monitoring and post-marketing surveillance confirmed that the product is not registered with the agency and does not possess a valid Certificate of Product Registration (CPR). As the product has not undergone the agency’s evaluation process, the FDA stated that it cannot guarantee the product’s safety, quality, or compliance with regulatory standards.
Under Republic Act No. 9711, the manufacture, importation, exportation, distribution, sale, promotion, or advertising of health products without appropriate authorization is strictly prohibited. The agency warned that establishments involved in the distribution, promotion, or sale of the product may face regulatory sanctions and enforcement actions.
Authorities and local government units have been requested to ensure that the product is not sold or made available within their jurisdictions. The Bureau of Customs has also been urged to prevent the importation or exportation of the product, as well as other unregistered food products.
The advisory further states that the market authorization holder may request the lifting of the advisory by submitting a formal petition accompanied by a valid CPR, photographic evidence of the compliant product in its final commercial packaging, and a copy of the advisory for verification.
Consumers and stakeholders are encouraged to verify the registration status of food products through the FDA Verification Portal and to report any sale or distribution of unregistered food products to the agency.
