On January 7, 2026, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) of the People’s Republic of China announced the review results for the first batch of simplified environmental management registration applications for new chemical substances in 2026. In accordance with the Measures for the Registration of Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No. 12), the Ministry reviewed seven simplified registration applications submitted by various enterprises and found them to meet the relevant regulatory requirements. The substances cover production and import activities. list of simplified registration certificates for environmental management of new chemical substances to be approved are:
• Esterification products of 2-methyl-2,5-dioxo-1,2-oxophosphosphorus heterocyclopentane and ethylene glycol
• Gelatin polymers with bis(alkyl isocyanate) monocyclics, alkyl dialdehyde, polysaccharides and polyhydroxymethylalkanes
• Trans-1,2-difluoroethylene
• Enanthate long-chain alkyl esters
• Reaction products of propionic acid-neutralized ethylenediamine with bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and polyethylene glycol
• (S)-4-[3-[4-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)morpholine-2-yl]propionyl]-3,5-difluorobenzoic acid
• Tetrafluoroborate diethyldimethyl ammonium
Pursuant to Article 24 of the Measures, the related application information was publicly disclosed for consultation during the period from January 7 to January 9, 2026.
