On January 7, 2026, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) of the Peoples Republic of China announced the review results for the first batch of simplified environmental management registration applications for new chemical substances in 2026. In accordance with the Measures for the Registration of Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No. 12), the Ministry reviewed seven simplified registration applications submitted by various enterprises and found them to meet the relevant regulatory requirements.
