On December 25, 2025, China disclosed the approval results of the 18th batch of simplified registration certificates for environmental management of new chemical substances. The batch includes six new chemical substances, approved for either production or import under China’s new chemical substance management system.

The approved chemicals are:

1. Strepenenoic acid polyhydro-polymethylene polycyclic ester
2. Alkyl chainenoic acid polyhydro-polymethylene polycyclic ester
3. Cyclic reaction product of halogenated dibenzo heteromonocyclic chloride with ammonia
4. 1,1,2-trifluoro-2-(1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroethoxy)ethylene
5. 3-{Acetoxyimino-[4-(2-methoxy-1-methylethoxy)-2-methylphenyl]methyl}-9-ethyl-6-nitrocarbazole
6. N-[3-(2-chloro-5-fluorophenyl)-6-(5-cyano-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridin-6-yl)-1-oxoisoindolin-4-yl]-3-fluoro-5-(trifluoromethyl)benzamide
7. (3S)-3-hydroxy-2-methyl butyrate

The disclosure provides transparency on substances cleared through the simplified registration route and signals that approved companies may proceed with production or import activities, subject to ongoing environmental management and compliance obligations under China’s chemical control regulations.
